As a proud woman owned brewery, it's our pleasure to celebrate International Women's Day each year by partnering with different organizations around the Twin Cities that are making a meaningful impact. The Minnesota Roller Derby is committed to empowerment for women, non-binary, and gender-expansive folks. We hugely admire their commitment to athleticism and inclusivity. We partnered with MNRD and brewed a beer together! We brainstormed on a name for the beer, and tapping Saturday, March 8th is: What A Girl Wants (Is Fundamental Rights), a delicious Irish Red Ale overflowing with notes of light caramel, toasted bread, and subtle biscuit. We can’t wait to tap this on March 8th because that happens to be International Women’s Day! We’re so excited that we’re throwing a party! From 2-6 PM we’ll have the fine folks from the Minnesota Roller Derby on hand to hang out, take pics, sell some merch, and even serve beers on roller skates! THEN, starting at 6 PM we’ve got our favorite cover band in the land of lakes, The High Flying Heads, doing a special “Women of the Decades” concert in the warehouse that is 100% free to attend. A portion of all sales of What A Girl Wants (Is Fundamental Rights) will be donated to Ann Bancroft Foundation. The Ann Bancroft Foundation supports girls to live their dreams and imagine something bigger through grants, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunities.

The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association hosts a monthly cribbage tournament at HeadFlyer on the 2nd Tuesday of each month! The tournament begin at 6:00pm, a $10 entry fee will be collected at the time of the tournament. All cribbage supplies are provided. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners. We had a killer time sharing our brewhouse with Aaron and Pat from Arbeiter Brewing for a super special, super phishy collab we’re calling: A Picture Of Nectaron. A Picture Of Nectaron is a Hazy IPA featuring Nectaron and Anchovy hops - don’t mind us, we’re just giggling over using Anchovy hops in a Phish themed beer. This hazy is double dry-hopped and features over 3 lbs of hops per barrel! Gonna need some strong test to hang with this monster. We’ll be releasing this beer on March 15th and we have a super fun day lined up! Come hang out and enjoy: - Free fishing for the kiddos w/ prizes! (Fun, little plastic pool with magnet fish) - Free snacks - Fun, family friendly interactive booth with @nativefish4tomorrow - Hang out with Nate from @shorelunch_with_nate_p - Phish Tribute concert in our warehouse from 4-7 PM with You Enjoy Yourself.
